Compost site
City of Sartell is opening their Regional Compost site to residents in Brockway Township. The Sartell compost site is open Mid-April through November each year. The site is operated using an automated gate system, and permits are applied for an managed strictly online. Resident access is self-serve once permitted, providing a low-touch, scalable solution for those participating. The compost site is a great resource for residents to dispose of leaves, grass clippings, brush, tree branches and additional clean yard waste. The fee for non-city of Sartell residents is $84/annually for 2026. This is paid online at the time of permit submittal by the applicant themselves. The site is located in northwest Sartell at 520 30th Avenue North, and easily accessible from multiple neighboring townships and cities.
